So we are currently trapped in the frozen subzero Northern Michigan weather... And my little wonder boy Cael(4) never complains to much about the weather conditions, we joke he's part walrus because he runs outside no coat etc.. Over the weekend Daddyboy and Kolby were cutting up firewood and Cael was helping in his 4 year old way. After twenty or so minutes of helping.... He arrives at the back door banging to come in. At the top of his (frozen lungs) he proclaimed he is FROZEN SALAD? I asked him in clueless mom voice your what? FROZEN SALAD, again was screamed with an added plea of hot chocolate. Ah light bulb moment----- he's frozen solid in mom terms but for some reason he had previously misunderstood my comments "your frozen SOLID" lol. So always remember any anecdotes you use may and do turn in to a game of sleuth. These are the comments and the moments that remind me of the blessings that have been bestowed upon my life...
The list of child remarks that will forever be laughable and long with nine to draw from....
Another chart topper was at the dinner table our 19 year old Mitchell was then 3 1/2 years old and at the dinner table and he for some obvious little boy reason was not eating... And Daddyboy made a direct statement to EAT. Outta the mouth of our sweet little Mitchieboy came " Daddyboy I gonna paazoo you to the moon!" Now how can ya be mad at such a cute attempt to take over the family at 3 1/2... Well he was punished and he did in the end eat his dinner, but Mitchieboy will forever be reminded of his attempt to over throw the King Daddyboy over dinner. Now at nearly 20 years old Mitchieboy is taller in stature than the King but still remains that little three year old in our eyes.. It is a balmy -2 windchill of -15 so I believe my day will consist of staying inside and warm. Be thankful, be prayerful, and be the good in someone's day. Tam
